Age-Friendly Omaha administrators have extended the deadline, formerly May 15, for participating in its community-wide survey.
The survey is the first step toward the goal of qualifying Omaha for the AARP community of Age-Friendly cities.
The canvass is to evaluate Omaha’s current age friendliness. To provide your perspective and observations about Omaha’s livability, go to http://www.agefriendlyomaha.org.
Age-Friendly Omaha launched its initiative in February. If successful, Omaha would join Grand Island and Lincoln, the first Nebraska cities to earn the distinction.
